Special Equipment and Production Facilities: 

Ford Contract Services, Inc. has advanced equipment and facilities in the industry for the application of natural and synthetic, both American and European manufactured sheet rubber linings.  This includes a 150' x 100' climate-controlled shop building for lining installation, 40' x 60' blast room; a 15' dia x 55' S/S autoclave for pressure vulcanizing large rubber lined vessels and equipment; and a 3' dia x 8' long autoclave for vulcanizing small rubber lined fittings.

Designed for Pressure Vulcanizing Large Rubber Lined Vessels and Equipment

Superior bonding properties and the improved chemical resistance afforded by autoclave vulcanization (pressure curing) will greatly extend the service life of your rubber lined equipment.  The Super Autoclave is able to handle controlled conditions such as the critical temperature/pressure relationship required to obtain the optimum bonding properties and chemical resistance of the basic sheet rubber compound.  Equipped with a full opening hydraulically actuated quick-opening door.  Service track is designed to handle work loads up to 60,000 lbs.
